Mayekoo Foundation LBG, based in Accra, Ghana, leads the fight against marine pollution through monthly beach cleanups, community engagement, and advocacy. Once-vibrant Labadi Beach is now overwhelmed by waste, endangering marine life and livelihoods. Mayekoo mobilizes volunteers, collects waste data to educate, influence policy, and promote sustainable practices. Beyond beaches, we encourage waste removal nationwide and push for reduced single-use plastics.
